Bear Creek Gold LLC is a veteran-owned, SDVOSB-certified small business rooted in Tucson, Arizona. We produce 100% pure, raw, unfiltered honey from our local apiaries near Bear Canyon (Sabino Canyon) and Cienega Preserve. We’re expanding operations in 2026/27 to include Patagonia-Sonoita Creek and the Lower San Pedro River areas, some of Sonoran’s most pristine landscapes.

What began as a hobby years ago evolved through dedicated education in the University of Florida’s IFAS Master Beekeeping Program. That foundation led to launching the business in 2023. As the sole operator, I keep everything hands-on and sustainable: no heating, no blending, no shortcuts. Our honey naturally stays under 17% moisture right from the hive, preserving its full natural enzymes, antioxidants, and authentic flavors.

It’s true Sonoran desert nectar, drawn from native blooms like mesquite (rich and smooth), catclaw acacia (light and sweet), creosote, saguaro cactus, and a variety of flowering shrubs. Each batch carries its own subtle desert character, reflecting the unique forage in our apiary areas.

Our process remains simple and transparent: bi-weekly inspections to support healthy colonies, careful hive management, and small-batch bottling in our dedicated honey house. We’re fully registered with the Arizona Department of Environmental Health’s Cottage Food Program (#19451) and hold certification from the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals (ANSI-accredited #US166404) to meet high food safety standards.
